Tell us a bit about yourself and your everyday life
I am married with two teenage boys and am currently completely changing my career choice!
How did you come across CoActive Health?
I had heard on the grape vine that a new gym was being opened in St Giles and went to investigate, initially for my husband, Rob but when I sat and chatted to Matt and Roan I knew that they would help me.
What form of exercise did you do before joining CoActive Health?
I have always enjoyed exercise and was alway doing some form of exercise.
What motivated you to start the at CoActive Health?
I had been struggling to loose weight for a while and CoActive offered me what I was looking for, fat loss and exercise that would keep me focused.
What membership are you on at CoActive Health?
I am a semi private member.
What has been the biggest change for you while you have been at CoActive Health?
I think I have had a total body transformation, I have loved seeing my body change and learning how to eat to keep the weight off and how to eat to maintain a healthy body. One of the biggest things that has changed for the better is my family has become more healthy through what I have learnt from Matt and Roan.
How often do you train and how long is each training session?
I like to train 4 times a week for roughly an hour and if I can fit in and not feeling over tired, I will try and do 1 conditioning session.
What is your favourite breakfast?
Steak, broccoli and almonds.
What is your favourite exercise?
Pull ups or any upper body exercises.
What is your plan for the rest of your journey with CoActive Health?
I would like to become stronger, get some respectable PBs and work on my form.
How would you describe your journey at CoActive Health to a friend?
My journey at CoActive Heath has been very positive and rewarding. There have been some ups and downs. I have definitely overcome challenges both physically and mentally. My whole outlook has changed, not just on fat loss and exercise but on being healthy and making healthy choices.
